Story:  Gem arrived at Barmouth from Rhyl, North Wales with her mum Kelly (can read about her in the Meet the Donkeys section) when she was  6 months.  She started to give rides on the beach in 2013 - Gem is very popular with children as she walks very fast or can walk slow with small children on her.
